This recipe is a creative dish and helps you to use up those Thanksgiving leftovers. Although leftovers aren’t always everyones’ favorite meal, this casserole is definitely a crowd pleaser.

Any leftover vegetables or turkey go right in the dish to make the filling. On top is a mouth-watering cheddar biscuit crust. The handmade dough balls go onto of the pot pit filling and then baked until they’re puffed up and golden.

What you’ll need:
-medium onion
– large carrots
-celery ribs
-chopped thyme
-unsalted butter
-low sodium turkey or chicken stock
-all-purpose flour
-roast turkey (or chicken)
-package frozen baby peas
